School Hours & Daily Schedule
Our daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. We provide structured daycare hours that accommodate busy family schedules while creating a consistent and nurturing environment for children. Each day blends learning, play, and meaningful interaction, all within a safe and Christ-centered setting where children can thrive.
The activity calendar and upcoming events can be found at our center. We follow the Willis ISD school year, but we also cater to the Conroe ISD calendar. Our summer camps are held in June and July.
Hours of Operation
We understand the importance of dependable care, which is why our school is open year-round with extended hours to support your family’s routine. Our schedule allows children to begin and end their day in a calm, structured environment that promotes confidence and consistency.
The Lighthouse School is open from 6:30 AM-6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Late pick-up fees apply after 6:30 p.m.

Other School Closures
Weather
In the event of severe weather or a community emergency, The Lighthouse School follows Willis ISD guidelines and communicates closures or updates through text, email, and school signage. If communication is limited, families are encouraged to check Willis ISD’s website, Facebook page, and local news for updates. If the school must close during the day, parents will be notified to pick up their child immediately, as the school cannot operate without electricity and running water.
There will be no refund for the first five days of closure due to weather, natural disaster, or any other closings.
Emergencies
- The school will close for a minimum of two teacher in-service training days each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, which are scheduled in advance and billed at the regular rate.
- Once a month, the school will close at 5:00 PM for staff training, with dates set before the school year and regular rates still applied.
