Enrollment Guidelines for The Lighthouse School

Enrollment at The Lighthouse School is open to all families. We operate on a non-discriminatory basis—no one is excluded because of race, color, religion, disability, sex, or national origin. We work closely with parents to meet the needs of every child. This includes understanding religious beliefs, cultural backgrounds, disabilities, or language differences, and creating a plan to ensure your child receives the support they need to thrive.

Here’s an overview of our enrollment process:

  • Schedule a tour with the office to meet the director and your child’s teacher.
  • Bring your child to the tour so they can become familiar with the facility and staff.
  • Tours are scheduled around school hours to minimize disruption and answer all your questions about policies, procedures, and daily activities.
  • Only a parent or legal guardian may enroll a child; proof of custody may be required.
  • If enrollment is full, your family will be placed on a waiting list, and you’ll be contacted in order as spots become available.
  • An annual, non-refundable registration fee secures your child’s place. A spot is not guaranteed until all enrollment requirements are completed.

Enrollment Requirements

As you prepare to enroll your child at The Lighthouse School, there are a few important steps to complete. To ensure your child’s safety and well-being, it’s essential that the school and your child’s teacher can reach you at all times, and that at least one emergency contact is available within 45 minutes if your child becomes ill.

Families will need to complete all required enrollment paperwork, provide up-to-date medical information, list an emergency contact, and submit tuition and fees. All information shared with the school is kept confidential, and our team is available to assist you throughout the process.

Re-Enrollment & Updating Your Family’s Info

Re-enrollment takes place each year from May through July and must be completed by the second Monday of August to keep your child’s spot. Parents are responsible for updating all forms, registration details, and annual curriculum or supply fees either manually or online.

Families should also notify the center right away of any changes to phone numbers, addresses, employment, or pickup arrangements. Information can be updated through your Procare account at myprocare.com or in the Procare App or MyProcare portal, which automatically notifies the school.
